sitters

It was only a few weeks ago when Olive and Miles could barely keep their heads up during tummy time, now look at them.  They are sitters.  We sat them down next to each other and they just started smiling and squealing.

moving

After what feels like years of searching and one giant foiled attempt, we finally bought a house.  We are so excited to be living in our own place.  A home for our family.  We are so lucky to have had a wonderful apartment to call home and to bring Miles into the world.  It was sad for me to leave the place where my baby first came home to, but I can't wait for all the memories in our new house!

door county, Wisconsin

We had a great trip to Door County, Wisconsin.  We stayed at Elsinore, a beautiful cabin on Lake Michigan.  We shared the weekend with some great Chicago friends.

hanging with gary

Miles and Gary catch some evening sun at Kelly and Marks.  I think Miles is mesmerized by gary's fantastic beard!

wiggle worm

Miles is quite the busy guy when he is in his crib these days.  He wiggles and scoots and rolls, which sometimes can lead to some precarious situations.  How he managed to get into this position is unknown, but he seems to be amusing himself.

on the farm

Over spring break I spent some time back home on the farm.  I got to show Miles the ponies that he will some day ride!  We bundled him up in his snow suit and took him out into the sun and cold.

park babies

Miles and I went for a walk with our neighbors today.  What fun!  Here are some shots of Miles and Olive hanging out in the park, telling stories and comparing baby notes.

baby toes

Look at these, "oh, so sweet!" toes.  They are amazingly cute, and precious.  I want to kiss them all the time.  I just love the way he curls and plays with his hands and feet, discovering them, figuring out how they work, and of course trying to eat them.

5 months

Here is a pic of Miles when he was 5 moths old.  What a cutie.  He sure has changed since he was a newborn.  Its amazing how fast he grows and changes.  Each day he has a new expression or a new look.  This one is priceless.  And yes, we just had to get that naked baby photo!
