Olive and Miles, together again! We love to babysit Olive. Miles has the best time when his friend is over. They love to play and crawl together. They especially love to chase the cats around the dining room table. Here they are all jammied up and ready for bed. Miles is lucky to have such a wonderful friend to grow up with.

camping
We went on our first Novak family camping trip. It was fantastic. We went to William O'Brien State Park just north of Stillwater, MN. The park has camper cabins you can rent on the cheap. We were amazed at how beautiful and cozy the cabins were. It was pretty luxurious camping if you ask me. Miles had a great time. He loved listening to all the sounds of the birds, squirrels, and wind. Miles pointed to everything that caught his eye. He would follow the birds across the sky and point to them up in trees. He's got an eye for nature. Our first camping trip was a total success. We hope to spend many summer and possibly winters camping together.

Uncle Matt
Matt came to hang out with us and see Miles. It was so much fun! Uncle Matt is always good at getting the little ones laughing, he is an expert at peek a boo games. Miles loves him. And Miles did plenty of his new trick, pointing. Miles love to point at everything and then he does the sweetest baby talk that sounds as if he is asking a question. We had fun playing at home and then we went out to dinner at the Chatterbox. Gotta love walking half a block from your front door to a fun restaurant. Miles loves it too, soon he'll be a regular!

tub time
Mile's isn't the hugest fan of the bath tub. At least not yet. But if we time it out just right he does have a little fun. And there is nothing cuter than a baby in the tub.

apple goodness
Miles' first apple goodness weekend! He loved it. He sucked on his first honey crisp apple, tried apple cider, and had fun on the farm. We went to a new orchard this year which was a lovely small family orchard. We sang happy birthday to the barn to celebrate its 100th birthday, played in the grass while we listened to some country music, and of course we picked apples. Miles was dressed in some warm clothing then it turned out to be about 75 degrees, but that just made for an even cuter Miles crawling around barefoot in bibs!

blanket party
Miles got a little wild with Dad while having a peek-a-boo blanket party. The giggles were priceless and the photos are hilarious. Miles loves his blankets and loves to snuggle them. This is his first time snuggling with his new blanket Mom sewed for him.
