Olive and Miles, together again!  These two light up when they see each other.  This photo sequence captures it perfectly.  They smile, they squeal, then they try to eat each others faces.  Just doing what babies do best!

Mike and Miles are hanging out in our new house.  It feels awesome to be all unpacked and settled in to our home.  Can't wait to make a million memories here. 

6 months

Here are photos from Miles' 6 month photo shoot.  I put him in a pair of vintage overalls that my mother passed on to me.  I believe they used to be my brother Matt's.  This was my best attempt at a pro photography session.  Found some cute green spaces in our backyard, some are a little cheesy but how can you blame me, they are SO cute!

It was only a few weeks ago when Olive and Miles could barely keep their heads up during tummy time, now look at them.  They are sitters.  We sat them down next to each other and they just started smiling and squealing.

After what feels like years of searching and one giant foiled attempt, we finally bought a house.  We are so excited to be living in our own place.  A home for our family.  We are so lucky to have had a wonderful apartment to call home and to bring Miles into the world.  It was sad for me to leave the place where my baby first came home to, but I can't wait for all the memories in our new house!

 

door county, Wisconsin

 We had a great trip to Door County, Wisconsin.  We stayed at Elsinore, a beautiful cabin on Lake Michigan.  We shared the weekend with some great Chicago friends.
